Ever since I remember, horses have been an undeniable part of my life. I grew up at a small barn with some of my closest friends (both two and four legged) cleaning stalls, painting fences and of course riding. My focus shifted more towards school and work at some point and I lost touch with the equestrian world a bit. I dabbled on and off taking lessons throughout college and shortly after, but nothing stuck. In 2016, my husband surprised me with making one of my biggest dreams come true – a trip to Kentucky for the Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event. On the drive home, I set up my first lesson for the following week. Since that first lesson, my love for horses and riding has been renewed. I’m not sure I can quite call myself an eventer again, but hopefully one day!
When I’m not riding, I can be found spending time with my husband and puppies at our home in Central Pennsylvania or at my full time job working in IT. In my free time I love following style bloggers, reading celebrity cookbooks and watching #failfriday videos on instagram.
(a)bout the blog
(e)questrian is a blog that brings together three of my biggest passions: horses, style and technology. Inspired by an online shopping trip gone wrong; this blog seeks to bridge the gap between our love of horses and today’s modern world.
